For over 5 years Music is Remedy have been promoting the best emerging artists through our website, podcasts and events. Over the years we have featured the likes of Ed Sheeran, Mikill Pane, Ghost Poet, Katy B, Jamie Woon and more. ‘Remedy Live’ is a night where you can expect to hear the best live music from artists on the rise.
The atmosphere is unlike any other with a crowd passionate about supporting quality music and artists . Good peoples Good vibes Good music... Come join us.
This Month we have
Kal Lavelle
Folk, Soul, Rock
The Irish singer songwriter teams up with The Remedies for a full band headline performance. Having spent 2011 gigging around the UK, hosting her own regular night in North London, her song featured as ITunes single of the week and supporting Ed Sheeran on his sold out UK and Ireland tour 2012 is looking like it'll be a very special year for this lady. This will be a Full band gig so expect something a little different from you're usual Kal set but very special.
Incisive
HipHop Soul
Penetrating, clear, sharp, direct, forceful… These are all words that you will find in the dictionary next to the word ‘Incisive’. The gifted and vibrant, West London emcee is intent on setting the British music scene a blaze in 2012 with his blend of witty lyrics, cool as ice flow and fresh-to-death production. Evidential within his previous releases, which portray his take on the everyday hustle of running the rat race. Incisive has already received support from Ras Kwame, BBC 1xtra, Choice FM and vastly by Bang Radio.
Greg Dwight
Soul R&B
Fresh faced with a commercial music degree under his belt. This emerging vocalist blends his rich, soulful tone with illustrative song writing and a touch of London twang. Currently doing the rounds on the circuit whilst working on his forthcoming acoustic EP 'Somewhere In The Middle', Greg Dwight promises to be one of the stand out artists of 2012 and shows why with every performance.
Kaana Ellie
Soul/Funk
The Soul Funk songtress has taken a break from performing over the last year focusing on life and the bigger picture. She returns to the stage @ Remedy Live armed with new songs, a vocal sounding better then ever and and the same insane energy that'll make you sweat just watching her! Expect to feel the FUNK!
House band for the night will be The Remedies. They are the hardest working band on the scene and some of the nicest most gifted musicians you're ever likely to meet. Currently working with Mikill Pane, Shakka, GREEdS, Kaana Ellie and more and also are the featured band on Ed Sheeran's live @ The Bedford EP.
